National Grant Scheme

The National Grant Scheme’s priorities are designed to link directly to the Department of Health’s strategic objectives.

Projects are funded to:

  • Work collaboratively with statutory health, public health and / or social care commissioners to test the strategic involvement of volunteer-led approaches to delivery of provision.
  • Develop new, improved and / or streamlined systems in health, public health and social care volunteering
  • Demonstrate project innovation in a project idea that should have  transferable outcomes / ideas at a national level.
